SHANGRI-LA
SHANGRI-LA is a short film where Georgia serves as co-writer, co-producer and actor. Inspired by the early 1960’s b-movie films of Doris Wishman, SHANGRI-LA is a genre bending portrayal of an aging showgirl who rails against her fate in a decaying seaside town.
Shot almost entirely in Coney Island, SHANGRI-LA explores whether our dreams are stronger than our fate.
SHANGRI-LA recently had its premiere at Coney Island Film Festival where it won the award for “Best Made In Coney Island.”
